Travel Nurse RN - Labor/Delivery in Brighton, CO

Weekly Pay Range - $1989 To $2209

**Job Title:** Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery
**Job Specialty:** Labor and Delivery
**Job Duration:** 13 weeks
**Shift:** Night 12 hours, 7 PM - 7 AM, 3x12 Hour
**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 Hours per week
**Experience:** Previous experience as a Registered Nurse is preferred
**License:** Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice is required
**Certifications:**
- BLS - American Heart Association
- NRP
- ACLS/PALS (as appropriate for unit or service)
**Must-Have:**
- ASN - Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing is required.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred
**Job Description:**
- Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with accepted practice standards as defined by the state Board of Nursing.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care.
- Evaluate health status through the ongoing collection and assessment of health data.
- Provide health teaching and health counseling.
- Deliver therapy and treatment that is supportive and restorative to life and well-being, either directly to the patient or indirectly through consultation, delegation, supervision, or teaching of others.
- Execute delegated medical functions.
- Refer patients as needed for further evaluation or treatment.
- Review and monitor therapy and treatment plans.
- Document in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines.
- Use resources as needed.
- Promote mission, vision, and values, and abide by service behavior standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- May be required to float to other departments (within scope of competency and qualifications) based on business need.
- May be required to be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift.
