Shift: Nights / 7p-7:30a, 12x3, 36 hrs per week
Length: 13 weeks
Weekend rotation: Every other weekend as neededHoliday Expectations:  depends on shift, 1 summer holiday and 1 winter holiday
On call? If so, what is that schedule?  L&D takes 24 hours of call per 4 week schedule period
Requirements:

• WA License
• 2 years experience
• Independent IV starts and lab draws from IV start, accurate vaginal exams, provide labor support, fetal monitor strip interpretation according to NICHD guidelines, strong ability to multi-task, communicate, comfortable with asking questions, and easily adapts to a new unit
• BLS
• NRP
• ACLS

Other details:

• EMR:  EPIC
• No first-time traveler
• Float: L&D floats to Mother Baby.  Mother Baby floats off the unit if needed
• Patient Ratios: 1:1-2 (dependent on stage of labor and acuity)
