The Driver must inspect and safely operate community vehicles or van ensuring the safe loading and unloading and timely delivery of residents while complying with all traffic laws, safety guidelines, and Clearwater Living policies and procedures.Pay: $22.00/hourSchedule: Sunday-Thursday 9:00am-5:30pmResponsibilitiesSchedule and safely transport residents to doctors’ appointments, local outings/excursions and other planned trips as directed by the Lifestyle DirectorAssist with the safe loading and seating of residents onto and off of the community vehicles(s) making certain that all residents are properly secured before drivingConduct daily inspection and safety checks on vehicle(s) before the first use and following the final use of the daySchedule regular maintenance of all community vehicles as necessaryEnsure that the community vehicle/van(s) are in proper operational order, registration and insurance information is present and up-to-date and promptly report any/all safety, mechanical or maintenance issues to supervisorMaintain communication throughout the community with use of cell phone or radio to always remain comprised of resident location and status as necessaryAssist with scheduling outings and/or medical appointments as needed, planned property activities and programs within the community between vehicle tripsPerform day-to-day clerical work associated with the position including tracking trips/residents, logging maintenance checks, etc.Display a positive and professional image through actions and maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which includes wearing the proper uniform and name tag when workingRepresent the Clearwater Living principles and core value on a daily basisPerform other duties and tasks as assigned or requiredQualificationsAbility, licensure and willingness to drive the community vehicles or vanHigh School Diploma or GED requiredAA degree preferred or a minimum of two years of work experience in the industryBackground clearances as required by government regulations and the Department of TransportationMust meet health requirements, including TBFirst Aid/CPR/BLS Certificate requiredClearwater Living is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
