Travel Nurse RN - Labor/Delivery in Omaha, NE

**Must-Have:** Ability to circulate in the Operating Room (OR)
**Job Description:**
- Perform normal newborn assessments and provide routine baby care.
- Float to Postpartum unit as needed, requiring care of both infant and mother.
- Manage patients in a 16-bed labor room and a 9-bed antepartum room, with up to 400 births per month.
- Assist with cesarean sections in a unit with 3 OR suites.
- Provide care in a 7-bed triage unit for patients over 20 weeks gestation with pregnancy-related complaints.
- Administer and titrate medications including Pitocin, Magnesium Sulfate, and pain medications.
- Work collaboratively with a team including a charge nurse, OB technicians, and in-house OB/Neonatologists.
- Troubleshoot respiratory therapy equipment such as nasal cannulas.
- Read and interpret electronic fetal monitoring (EFM) strips using the Obix system.
- Take part in self-scheduling; required to work every third weekend and one major and one minor holiday.
- Wear provided surgical scrubs and follow any dress code requirements.
- Attend 2-3 shifts of unit-specific orientation.
