Position: Sales Manager USA, Transport Packaging Solutions
Location: Flexible work location, ideally situated near a major airport in Pennsylvania, Illinois or New York. Candidates must be available for frequent travel nationwide as well as periodic travel to German HQ.

Position Summary:
As theSales Manager for our client’s newly established US operations, you will spearhead the company's expansion efforts in the US market. Reporting to the Sales and Marketing Director, your responsibilities will include establishing and expanding sales structures, cultivating partnerships with distributors and clients, and conducting market analysis to pinpoint growth opportunities. Your entrepreneurial acumen will be essential in navigating the startup-like environment with the headquarters providing support, as you promote the company’s tailored eco-friendly packaging solutions. This includes machinery as well as paper materials produced in-house, designed to meet the diverse needs of clients across various industries.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan for the US market which positions the company for strong growth across target industry sectors with requiring transport/shipping packaging solutions, e.g. logistics, e-commerce, manufacturing.
- Conduct comprehensive market analyses to pinpoint growth opportunities and challenges.
- Identify and cultivate relationships with potential customers across various sectors.
- Collaborate closely with existing local distribution partners and establish new business relationships.
- Strategically plan and execute projects aimed at driving growth across all product categories.
- Spearhead sales negotiations and deliver impactful presentations to key stakeholders.
- Provide regular, insightful reports to management at German HQ on sales performance and market trends.
- Represent the company at trade fairs, congresses and industry events to showcase the company’s solutions.
- Manage operational tasks, including machine setup and providing first-level technical support as needed.
- General organizational duties as required to support overall business objectives.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven track record in sales, ideally with established connections within target sectors, preferably logistics.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering or related field.
- Demonstrated success in expanding sales territories and achieving revenue targets.
- Passion for driving business growth and shaping new business relationships and sales territories.
- Passionate about technical concepts and solutions, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively build and maintain relationships with distributors, partners, and clients.
