Job Summary: As a Class A Driver, your primary responsibility will be to operate company vehicles for the safe and timely delivery of finished goods and materials to customer jobsites. In addition to driving, you will be responsible for unloading materials and ensuring customer satisfaction with the delivery.
Key Responsibilities:

• Verify the accuracy of delivery items and ensure all materials are accounted for and in good condition.
• Responsible for accuracy of loads and must get all loads verified by yard manager for accuracy prior to leaving yard.
• Safely drive trucks and forklifts obeying all traffic laws, wear seatbelt at all times while driving a company truck or forklift.
• Follow all yard loading and delivery, and yard security.
• When not driving, assist with loading materials in the yard and helping customers with their product needs.
• Capable of navigating digital platforms to include uploading pictures, E-Logs, Online platforms as directed.
• Listen and work with customers to solve customer problems.
• Ability to follow all CDL requirements as outlined by the DOT.
• Ability to haul oversized loads.

Desired Skills, Knowledge, and Qualifications:

• Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle safety and maintenance procedures.
• Ability to learn and understand the products sold and assist customers with product-related inquiries.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy materials (up to 50 pounds).
• Self-motivated, reliable, and punctual.
• Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor environments and in all weather conditions.
