Travel Nurse RN - Labor/Delivery in Lewiston, ME

**Must-Have:** Level II nursery experience required
**Job Description:** - Care for labor patients and mother-baby couplets- Ability to manage a 3 couplet assignment for a total of 6 patients- Attend deliveries as a baby nurse and provide resuscitation and stabilization to infants if needed- Triage 1-2 labor patients, including those with hypertension and insulin-dependent diabetes- Required to work every third weekend/four weekend shifts per contract- Use Omnicell, Cerner, Powerchart, and Powerchart Maternity for medication, documentation, and communication- Complete 72 hours of unit orientation- Wear navy blue scrubs- Facility is smoke-free and requires fit testing before being on site- NICU experience preferred (Level II NICU - Special Care Nursery)- ACLS certification preferred- No Cerner training provided by the facility, prior experience preferred but not required- Call requirement is mandatory, with no float requirementNote: The facility does not accept candidates residing within 50 miles and does not accept first-time travelers. Housing is available at a reduced rate upon request.
