The opportunity
Job Summary :
SNHU operates an off-campus shuttle that is used to transport SNHU students to and from designated locations in the greater Manchester area. The off-campus shuttle operates on Saturdays from 12-8pm and on the first Friday of each month from 4-11pm. In this position, you will be expected to operate shuttle vehicles (mini-van/standard sized SUV) in a safe and efficient manner, maintain a clean and well-organized vehicle, and provide exceptional customer service to passengers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Transport passengers to and from designated locations in a safe and timely manner
- Follow pre-planned routes and schedules to ensure timely arrival at destinations
- Assist passengers with loading and unloading if necessary
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of the shuttle vehicle
- Conduct regular inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition
- Report any vehicle malfunctions, maintenance needs, incidents to your supervisor
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving the shuttle vehicle
- Provide excellent customer service to passengers, addressing any questions or concerns they may have
- Collect contact information from passengers to ensure accurate records
- Participate in initial trainings and ongoing meetings (monthly) as required
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
Minimum Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license
- Clean driving record
- Ability to become an SNHU approved driver
- Ability to operate a passenger van or shuttle bus
- Good communication skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Comfort with driving a vehicle in various weather conditions
- Ability to work Fridays and Saturdays
- Good customer service skills
- Enrollment in an Undergraduate or Graduate Day program at SNHU (minimum of X credits)
- Work-Study as part of the financial aid package
- Be in positive standing with Community Standards and Academics

Compensation
The hourly pay range for this position is $12.00 - $15.00. Actual offer will be based on skills, qualifications, experience and internal equity, in addition to relevant business considerations.
