Maplehurst is seeking full time drivers to haul grain and agronomy products locally in a safe, punctual, and efficient manner. Steady work year-round. This position requires extended work hours during peak seasons, including weekends. Candidates can expect to be working 11-14 hours a day between the months of (Dec. - Aug.) and 14 hours, available 7 days a week during the months of Harvest (Sept. - Nov.). Compensation is based on a percentage of the revenue the loads pay and the percentage rate is based upon experience & tenure. The more you haul the more you earn!

- Safely operate trucks as needed to deliver products
- Ability to climb in and out of the truck, onto various parts of the truck and trailer
- Must be able to sit for long periods of time
- Must be able to roll and unroll trailer tarp manually
- Assist in loading and unloading trucks
- Must be able to communicate with logistics clearly and be able to understand new load instructions & direction over CB radio. Driver understands that the nature of the changing business demands and volumes dictate routes made at logistics discretion.
- Manage one's own on road efficiency which includes continually monitoring traffic and road conditions.
- Technology - Pre & Post Trip Inspection Documentation preformed upon a tablet. Must be able to learn and work applications similar to a smart phone.
- Operate equipment in a manner to obtain efficient miles/gallons ratio
- Observe and report equipment (or) mechanical issues immediately to the appropriate personnel via Tablet App
- Load Sheets, Driver Reports, and Scale Tickets are to be completed in their entirety as well as turned in daily
- Driver is responsible in keeping their Truck, both interior and exterior, presentable for hauling, including washing the tractor and trailer at varying times.
- Conduct a professional and courteous manner in all situations with a team first attitude
- Understand and comply with ALL company, Federal, and State rules and regulations. This includes DOT, OSHA, Drug Testing, and Vehicle Maintenance Programs.
- Safety Meeting Attendance (Mandatory)

Education/Experience: Candidates must have a current Class A CDL and valid Medical Card. Ideal candidates already hold their Tanker Endorsement or able to obtain within the first year of employment. Must have a clean driving record that would not preclude being insured. A work history in the Agricultural industry is preferred.
