Delivery Driver

This position is essential for delivering products to customers from Sherwin-Williams stores using box and flat-bed trucks. As a Delivery Driver, you will ensure that deliveries are completed accurately, packed correctly, and safely delivered to the right customer, with a focus on customer satisfaction and timely transport.

The role is based at Store #7419, located at: 13489 W Interstate 10 San Antonio TX 78249.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare deliveries to meet customer requirements efficiently.
• Properly load customer orders onto the truck.
• Complete necessary documentation accurately.
• Safely transport and deliver items to customers in a timely manner.
• Maintain the delivery vehicle and report any maintenance needs.
• Provide outstanding customer service, addressing any questions or complaints effectively.
• Follow assigned routes and maintain schedules.
• Comply with all transportation laws, ensuring a safe driving record.
• Prepare reports and documentation related to deliveries.
• Operate necessary equipment, including trucks and forklifts.
• Assist with other store tasks such as warehouse duties and customer service.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be legally authorized to work without sponsorship for a work visa.
• Must possess a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
• Must have or be willing to obtain a valid Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) within five business days of receiving a conditional job offer.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs frequently and 70 lbs occasionally, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Must be available to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• A High School diploma or GED.
• At least one year of experience as a delivery driver.
• Experience using material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Previous experience selling paint and related products.
• Ability to communicate effectively in more than one language.
• Proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
