About Lick Honest Ice Creams
We're Lick Honest Ice Creams and have been producing the finest, locally sourced, seasonally inspired ice creams in Austin since 2011! We work hard and get rave reviews from media around the country. We are rapidly expanding and looking for outgoing, happy, responsible, and positive individuals who love ice cream as much as we do to join our ice cream shop family!
Position Summary
The Driver's primary function is to deliver and distribute our ice cream to our own shops in Austin and San Antonio as well as our wholesale customers statewide. The driver must demonstrate sound safety practices and maintain the highest sanitary and cleanliness levels in our trucks. This position reports directly to the Senior Sales Manager. This is a part-time position, with a primarily Monday through Thursday schedule, but with occasional Saturday shifts required depending on operational needs. Requires capability to arrive by 7:30 AM for on time deliveries.

• Fully support the owner's mission and integrity of the brand and of the business
• Fully engage in day-to-day operations primarily in back of house but with considerations to front of house as well (they work together) and be excited to be at work
• Convey positive and happy energy to all staff
• Maintain high cleanliness levels
• Treat this position as a responsibility and a priority and be accountable for any and all actions, decisions made, or direction given
• Be dependable, timely, flexible with scheduling, and willing to take one for the team when necessary
• Surface concerns or frustrations immediately and directly to Senior Sales Manager
• Assume positive intent
• Take initiative
• Lead by example.
Duties and Responsibilities
DELIVERIES
• Organize all deliveries to meet deadlines and increase efficiency in coordination with Senior Sales Manager.
• Work with Senior Sales Manager to process orders via Email, Excel, Net Suite when applicable.
• Ensure that all deliveries are properly received (including payment if applicable), unloaded, and that existing ice cream on shelves is saleable and well kept.
• Complete all deliveries within allotted scheduled time, sooner if possible.
• Communicate delivery/ordering with Senior Sales Manager.
MAINTENANCE/CLEANING
• Ensure that all company vehicles are safe and functioning properly and take action to resolve issues
• Work with kitchen to maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse per kitchen manager's requests.
• Create and manage opening/closing checklists for all drivers MAINTENANCE/CLEANING.
EComm Specialist
• Manage and provide customer satisfaction to our Ecomm/Wholesale Orders.
• Work with UPS/EComm Platform to gather shipping information.
• Pick up dry ice, package pints, and organize delivery, with UPS Delivery Drivers.
• Manager Wholesale email orders to communicate effectively with the Kitchen department.
Essential Functions
• Able to sit in a vehicle for shifts lasting up to, but not limited to, 10 hours of time
• Able to communicate clearly and professionally with customers and team members (face-to-face or by telephone)
• Able to read and comprehend written material
• Safely load, unload, and deliver products at each customer location
• Drive truck over established route to deliver product at customer locations
• Verify shipment accuracy and saleable condition of product
• Resolve discrepancies and customer complaints
• Collect empty containers, rejected, or unsold merchandise for return
• Report any truck issues to the Fleet Manager
• Assist with routine maintenance on trucks
• Maintain neat appearance and follow established policies and direction of management.
• Maintain reliable attendance and consistent work hours.
• Perform tasks which involve repetitive motion including, but not limited to the use of arms, hands, wrists, back
• Able to use hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools or controls
• Manage one's time and the time of others
• Monitor and control resources, including but not limited to collecting payments for goods
• Lift at least 50Lbs.
• Ensure that the truck is ready to go for the next delivery
The pay range for this role is:
18 - 20 USD per hour (Main Office)
