Travel Nurse RN - Labor/Delivery in Peterborough, NH

**License:** Current RN licensure required
**Certifications:**
- NRP Certification required
- STABLE Certification required
- BLS Certification required
- AWHONN Certification preferred
**Must-Have:**
- EMR experience
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Fetal Monitoring experience preferred
- BSN (or better) preferred
**Job Description:**
- Prescribe and coordinate professional nursing care for assigned obstetrics patients.
- Work independently within the guidelines of accepted nursing practice, medical direction, and hospital policies, procedures, and standards.
- Participate in a collaborative team environment alongside an established OB/GYN and pediatric group.
- Assess, plan, organize, supervise, provide, and evaluate nursing care utilizing the nursing process.
- Be cross-trained in all aspects of obstetrical care within the birthing suite.
- Work in an 8-bed LDRP unit that delivers over 350 babies annually.
- No OR/C-Section knowledge required.
- Maintain a patient ratio of 1:1 in active labor and 1:2/3 for Mother/Baby.
- Provide patients with a range of birthing options from natural childbirth to full epidural anesthesia, 24 hours a day.
- Offer individualized attention and personalized nursing care to provide comfort, care, and medical expertise throughout labor.
