Full-time and no weekends!
$20.00 per hour (potential for higher wage based on experience and qualifications)
Why You'll Love This Job:
- Operate a commercial box truck and ensure that every delivery is made safely and on time.
- Load, unload, and transport materials, making sure products are secured and delivered to the right location.
- Interact professionally with customers, address their questions, and provide top-notch customer service.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues.
- Track and manage Records of Duty Status (RODS) data, drive to weigh stations, and comply with all transportation regulations.
- Tackle delivery-related issues with a calm and solution-oriented approach.
What We're Looking For:
- High school diploma or equivalent and two years of relevant experience preferred.
- Valid medical examiner's certificate (or ability to obtain one) and a clean driving record.
- Strong understanding of traffic laws, safe driving practices, and CMV inspection procedures.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with proficiency in reading and speaking English.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
Physical & Environmental Conditions:
- Enjoy working independently and spending time on the road.
- Be prepared to work in various weather conditions during deliveries.
- Ability to lift, bend, and carry heavy loads, exerting up to 100 pounds of force.
- Perform tasks that require bending, reaching, and maneuvering.
