CELEBRATION-ACCOUNTABILITY-PASSION FOR LEARNING-LOVE ONE ANOTHER- INTELLIGENT RISK TAKING - CUSTOMER SECOND- OWNERSHIPPosition SummaryThe primary purpose of your job position is to transport residents to and from appointments and activities in a safe and courteous manner in accordance with Federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations governing our facility and as may be directed by the Executive Director.Travels to local acute care hospitals, Physicians offices and other locations within the area.Ensure that all transportation procedures are followed in accordance with established policies.Assume the authority, responsibility- and accountability of DriverEnsures passengers, wheelchairs to restraining devices to stabilize wheelchairs during trips.Assists disabled and or elderly residents in and out of vehicle and in and out of buildings and doctor's offices when appropriate.Duties and ResponsibilitiesAll duties and responsibilities shall be performed as set forth in our established policies and procedures.Adheres to and assures compliance with Code of Conduct, facility policies and procedures and all applicable rules, regulations and standards as promulgated by Federal, State and accrediting agencies or regulating bodies. This includes, but not limited to Department of Health, Centers of Medicare and Medicaid Services and other applicable regulatory agencies.Ability to work with handicapped and the elderlyActs of positive representative of the operation. Uses tact and understanding with operation, personnel, residents, family members, and outside community contacts.Secures passengers wheelchairs to restraining devices to stabilize wheelchairs during trip.Assists disabled and/or elderly residents in and out of vehicle and in and out of building, doctor's offices when appropriate.For benefit details check us out here eligibility for some benefits dependent on full time employment status.EEO/Minorities/Females/Veteran/Disability
