Travel Nurse RN - Labor/Delivery in Nampa, ID

**Job Title:** Registered Nurse
**Job Specialty:** Women's Services - Labor and Delivery
**Job Duration:** 26 weeks
**Shift:** 12-hour nights, 7 PM - 7 AM, weekends as needed, float to various sites
**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week
**Experience:** Minimum of 2 years required
**License:** Valid RN license
**Certifications:** ACLS, BLS, NRP, STABLE
**Must-Have:**
- 3 years of Labor and Delivery experience
- Mother-baby experience (1 year preferred)
- Experience attending deliveries and completing 1 hour of newborn care
- Experience with magnesium administration and titration
**Job Description:**
- Work in a unit with 14 LDRP beds where patients stay in the same room
- Circulate and recover in 2 OR suites designated for C-sections
- Manage 4 triage beds and handle approximately 90 births per month
- Follow staffing standards according to AWHONN guidelines
- Care for a diverse patient population with conditions such as gestational diabetes and HTN
- Administer titratable drips according to established protocols
- Collaborate with an admin supervisor, resource RN, and triage RN on each shift
- Support from OB hospitalist, Neonatal NP, and anesthesia available 24/7
- Use Centricity for EFM system documentation
- Attend orientation to C-section, labor, and postpartum scenarios
- Abide by no fingernail lacquer policy and use hospital-issued scrubs
This role entails floating between various facilities, requiring adaptability and the ability to work in different settings as needed.
