Job Summary:

As a VP of Delivery, you will lead and grow our world class Salesforce delivery team servicing our mid-size commercial and enterprise customers. With enterprise-level, large-scale delivery leadership experience, this position will be a change agent for strategy and driving organizational transformation. You will not only be responsible for the structure and reshaping how we deliver work, but this role will also own executive level client relationships and all delivery revenue forecasting, continue to cultivate a culture of accountability, create metrics for success and collaborate across other functional teams including, but not limited to, customer success, technology, sales, people and operations, finance, etc. As a decisive decision-maker, this role will function as the point of escalation and supporting large client relationships.

Responsibilities:

  • Service Offerings & Client Relationships:
    • Building and maintaining strong client relationships, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and engagement.
    • Driving the evolution of service offerings to meet client needs and market demands.
  • Delivery Optimization:
    • Assessing current delivery processes to identify gaps and inefficiencies, both internally and with customers.
    • Reshaping delivery methodologies to address identified gaps and improve overall service quality.
    • Implementing best practices and innovative solutions to drive delivery excellence.
  • Team Structure & Development:
    • Redefining team roles, responsibilities, and career progression pathways to align with organizational goals.
    • Developing and executing strategies for skill development and professional growth within the team.
    • Growing and managing the delivery team, ensuring effective structure and resource allocation.
  • Organizational Change & Culture:
    • Leading internal organizational change initiatives to foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
    • Collaborating with cross-functional teams (Delivery, Customer Success, Technology, Sales, People & Operations, Finance, etc.) to ensure cohesive execution of strategies.
  • Methodology & Process Improvement:
    • Overseeing and refining delivery methodologies, including standardized resource allocation plans (RAs), scoping, and staffing processes.
    • Ensuring alignment of delivery methodologies with industry standards and emerging trends.
  • Revenue & Forecasting:
    • Owning revenue forecasting across all of delivery, ensuring accurate financial planning and accountability.
    • Monitoring and reporting on delivery performance, making data-driven decisions to enhance profitability.
  • Metrics & Success Definition:
    • Identifying and defining key performance metrics to measure success and inform strategic decision-making.
    • Implementing systems to track and analyze metrics, driving improvements and accountability.
  • Technology Engagement:
    • Leveraging knowledge of Salesforce and other technologies (e.g., AWS, Snowflake, Dynamics, NetSuite) to drive delivery excellence.
    • Staying abreast of the latest technological trends and collaborating with tech leadership to integrate new innovations.

Required Abilities:

  • Senior leader in delivery management, with a strong background in growing and managing large-scale teams and holding team members accountable for quality/service excellence.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, influence, and drive change across an organization.
  • Vocal decision maker with a track record of making impactful decisions.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce capabilities, with exposure to other technologies such as AWS, Snowflake, Dynamics, and NetSuite.
  • Ability to utilize best practices in project work.
  • Superior organizational skills; ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to deliver your message to varied audiences.
  • High level of self-motivation and ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • High level of comfort with a fast-paced work environment and ability to adapt to changes in processes or company culture.
  • Quick learner; ability to learn new applications quickly.
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Willingness and ability to travel periodically (on average 25% of the time) to client sites, sometimes on short notice.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
  • 15+ years of Salesforce and other consulting experience preferred.
  • 10+ years of people management experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
  • Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
  • Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one work site to another.
