About the role

The Senior Service Architect (IT Infrastructure) is a core member of the Services Pursuit team. They have a general knowledge of a particular area of Services (Workplace, Datacenter, Networking & Unified Communications or Cross-functional), such as delivery methodology, cost drivers, and supporting/enabling technologies. The Senior Service Architect is responsible for the assessment of customer requirements, development of service design, cost calculation, and non-complex pricing for Services solutions.

What you'll be doing

1. Qualification of managed services opportunities
   1. Support the analysis of customer requirements
   2. Support the qualification of opportunities and customer requirements against the capabilities and strengths of CC Delivery units (ISPs) and the Service Catalogue
   3. Support customer-specific campaigns, coordination of marketing support, ensuring Computacenter brand compliance
2. Service Design
   1. Assess and clarify customer requirements
   2. Map requirements against Computacenter existing capabilities
   3. Maximize the opportunities to utilize the Shared Service Factory and other core propositions
   4. Consider services outside of our existing capabilities
   5. Define and communicate requirements for Transition & Transformation
   6. Work closely and collaboratively with the Solution Manager to assist with the development of the solution/design (technical, operational, commercial)
   7. Create costing for developed service across the entire Services area
   8. Work jointly with Delivery teams to agree on the solution design & costing
   9. Collaborate as part of a team on larger solutions to ensure that handover to the relevant support organization is successfully completed
   10. Create complex pricing

What you have

1. Strong experience pricing large, complex IT Infrastructure projects
2. Good service understanding of IT Services (Workplace, Data center, Networking & Unified Communications or Cross-functional)
3. Good understanding of the IT outsourcing market & competition
4. Commercial capability in a business-focused IT environment
5. Legally eligible to work in the United States
6. Ability to build relationships primarily with internal stakeholders and ISPs
7. Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
8. Analytical and risk-aware approach
9. Capable of working under own initiative but can work as a member of a team
10. Ability to prioritize own workload
11. Personal flexibility & willingness to travel
12. Self-starting and results-driven with clear prioritization of deliverables
13. Ability to work under time pressure
14. Managing and minimizing risk to bid deliverables while ensuring focus on customer and customer deliverables
