Purpose of the Position
- Provide messenger and delivery services to FDNY, MTA, and Banknote locations throughout 5 boroughs of New York City.
- This is a Backup Floater position and is considered Part-time. Hours can range between 20-40 hours per week.
- Hourly salary is determined by site contract and varies between $17.00 - $17.50
Essential Functions:
- Sort mail by location.
- Deliver and pick up all mail and packages at the various division locations.
- Pickup and deliver department orders to all locations.
- Must be ready/on call to deliver packages outside of the division
- Responsible for all parking rules/EZ Pass and muni-meter app/phone provided.
- Must have a valid NYS driver's license.
- Must have driving knowledge of all 5 boroughs.
- Must be cooperative and a team player
- Prior driving position preferred.
