As a Dump Daddy Roll-Off Driver, you would be responsible for loading, and transporting large mobile open-top dumpster containers to disposal sites transfer facilities, and customer locations. Roll-Off Drivers will navigate driveways, alleyways, lots, and high-traffic roadways. May need to operate in tight overhead environments while on industrial routes. Highly skilled back maneuvers are essential to successfully perform this job. This position does involve getting in and out of the truck and has physical labor involved.
Duties and Responsibilities:
High level of motivation, energy, and a customer-focused attitude.
Operate vehicles in accordance with company rules, OSHA, and DOT requirements as well as all local, municipal, state, and federal laws.
Must have a valid Driver's License and good driving record.
Successful completion of pre-employment drug test and background check.
Successful completion of DOT Medical Certification
Follows route assignments as directed and completes end-of-day documentation and the check-out process.
Performs pre and post-trip inspections of assigned equipment and completes DVIR (Driver Vehicle Inspection Report)
Immediately report any unsafe situations, service-related issues, incidents, accidents, injuries, or property damage to the Route Manager
Performs all duties as scheduled by the Route Manager and assists other drivers as directed to meet customer needs.
1099 Independent Contractor
Our contractors are paid by the delivery and the dump. Overall pay averages out to between $22 and $25 per hour.
