Responsibilities: • Safely operate a heavy-duty truck to transport large mobile open-top and compactor containers to disposal sites, transfer facilities, and customer locations in Silsbee, TX, US. • Prepare, load, and unload waste products in the morning and load trucks in the afternoon. • Navigate various locations including driveways, alleyways, lots, and high-traffic roadways. • Perform highly skilled backing maneuvers, especially in tight overhead environments. • Operate in compliance with Live Oak Environmental Safety Rules, OSHA, DOT requirements, and all relevant laws. • Conduct pre and post-trip inspections of assigned equipment and document checks on standard DVIR. • Report any unsafe situations, incidents, accidents, or service-related issues promptly to the Route Manager or Dispatch. • Participate in all required training programs, briefings, and meetings. • Collaborate with Route Managers to enhance route efficiencies and identify best practices. • Notify management of service interruptions, damaged containers, or safety hazards. • Communicate customer requests effectively to management. • Ensure proper replacement and positioning of containers on customer properties. • Follow assigned routes, complete end-of-day documentation, and assist other drivers as needed.
