Travel Nurse RN - Labor/Delivery in Holly Springs, NC

**Job Title:** Registered Nurse (RN)

**Shift:** Nights 3x12 Hr
**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 per week
**Experience:** Two years of nursing experience
**License:** Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse
**Certifications:**
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN) - Intermediate
**Must-Have:**
- Ability to circulate for C-sections
- Ability to triage for obstetrics
**Job Description:**
- Provide competent clinical nursing care consistent with professional standards.
- Coordinate and deliver patient care utilizing the nursing process in a hospital setting.
- Participate in identifying and meeting personal learning needs and attend educational programs.
- Use patient education materials relevant to the patient population and assess readiness to learn.
- Identify expected patient outcomes and seek guidance for revising care plans.
- Engage in interdisciplinary discussions to evaluate patient care and communicate relevant information for continuity.
- Demonstrate competency in caring for patients with complex problems, addressing physical, psychosocial, educational, and safety needs.
- Perform bedside point of care testing as required by the patient care plan.
- Organize and prioritize care according to patient and family needs.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary resources for planning care and address cultural and ethnic issues in planning.
- Participate in the development and achievement of unit goals and performance improvement activities.
- Promote a safe, clean, and secure hospital environment.
- Recognize data from complex situations to determine care priorities and synthesize assessment data.
- Develop relationships with families to promote advocacy for the patient and their needs.
- Read applicable journals and share questions and ideas with peers for practice assessment.
