Responsible for providing transportation of residents to various locations. Drives residents to doctor's appointments, has on-call availability, and coordinates necessary vehicle maintenance. Typically has a Commercial Drivers License, Class B with passenger endorsement.

•Interacts with residents, families, staff, and other visitors in a pleasant, respectful, and courteous manner.
•Acts as a positive representative of community at au times.
•Assists in organizing groups of residents for each scheduled activity.
•Responsible for picking up and delivering residents to routed stops. Assists residents in and out of vehicles.
•Operates vehicles in a safe and clean fashion.
•May assist Activity Director with in-house activities including planning and organizing, arranging furniture, decorating and
the general set up for activity programs.
•Complies with Federal and State regulations relative to resident rights issues and quality of life issues.

•Ensures that residents are free from abuse (physical verbal and sexual), mistreatment and neglect. Reports any such
instance to the Executive Director.
In Service Education
•Attends all in-service education programs mandated by CSL, State or Federal guidelines which includes necessary
testing for renewal and maintenance of CDL license endorsement.
Risk Management, Safety and infection Control
•Knowledgeable of Rules of the Road issues mandated by Corporate, State, and Federal Guidelines.
•Reports all accidents/incidents and hazardous conditions/equipment, as established by department policies as well as
local authorities.
•Examines and analyzes with the Executive Director any accidents/crashes to determine future avoid ability.
•Disposes of waste in accordance with established policies.
•Demonstrates knowledge of emergency policies and procedures.
•Follows established guidelines when using equipment, supplies and chemicals.
•Demonstrates knowledge of infection control throughout the community.
•Complies with safe food handling procedures.
•Reports all exposures in accordance with OSHA and CSL guidelines, policies and procedures.
•Has a working knowledge of the components of the vehicle that is being driven in order to assess necessary repairs or
adjustments.
•Maintains a daily vehicle walk-around and safety inspection ensuring that all fluid levels are at manufacturer specs, tire air
pressure at appropriate and safe levels and there are no hazards with the vehicle itself that could pose a threat to riders.
