Travel Nurse RN - Labor/Delivery in Eureka, CA

**Shift:** Night 3x12-Hour (18:00 - 06:30)
**Guaranteed Hours:** Facility may call off once per two-week pay period
**Experience:** 1 year required
**License:** Valid CA License
**Certifications:** ACLS, BLS, NRP
**Must-Have:**
- Valid CA License
- Willingness to work two out of the three major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year
- Willingness to float between like units and sister facilities
**Job Description:**
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit.
- Participate in and complete orientation for a total of 36 hours over three shifts.
- Adhere to weekend and holiday work requirements as specified.
- Utilize Epic for charting and documentation.
- Wear any solid color scrubs, typically Royal Blue or Navy.
- Maintain required certifications and licensure throughout the assignment.
- Work collaboratively with hospital staff and adhere to hospital policies and procedures.
- Complete non-billable modules which average 16 hours, with time logged and completion recorded.
- Maintain clear communication, potentially requiring the use of provided communication devices or personal devices with reimbursement for work-related use.
- Seek housing within the area independently, as options may be limited.
- Provide at least two supervisory references covering one year of employment within the last three years in a comparable specialty/setting.
**Notes:**
- Candidates will be expected to float within the hospital or to affiliate hospitals nearby. Refusal to float may result in termination of the assignment and/or forfeiture of guaranteed hours.
- Submissions must include requested time off.
- Local candidates within a 50-mile radius are accepted at a lower rate.
