Material Handler Entry-Level
Summary: Material handling, packaging, and cleaning equipment. Responsible for following written and verbal work instructions.
Salary: $19.00-$22.00/hr

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Support and actively engage in Seaport Steel's Safety Program.
• Operate Forklift to move material.
• Utilize a Crane to move material within the facility.
• Review customer work order: materials, and customer order specifications.
• Verifies material stock before packaging products, loading trucks, or processing job orders.
• Loads/unloads material stock using a forklift or with an overhead crane.
  • Load truck for shipment with supervision.
  • Process stock pulls with supervision.
• Build skids and pallets.
• Cleans and packages material for shipping.

Communicate with the Production Lead regarding warehouse procedures

• High school degree and 2+ years related experience, or equivalent combination
