Forklift Operators2nd Shift 4:00pm-12:30am $17.75/hr may work overtime and weekendsA cold Storage warehouse in Spencer, IA is looking for forklift Operators for their 1st and 2nd shifts. You will be working in a freezer type environment Loading and unloading product. Must have forklift experience.Responsibilities:Load and unload freight using equipment in an efficient and safe mannerMove product to storage areas and put away with proper equipment.Check or count freight for accuracy and/or damage and infestationPerform labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing, and repackingOperate equipment safely and efficiently (equipment to include, but not limited to stand up and sit down forklifts, and pallet jacks.Report all safety malfunctions on equipmentMaintain a clean, neat, and orderly work environmentFollow attendance policy, show up for work on time and ready to work assigned shiftPerform other duties as assigned, may be required to perform duties outside of their normal responsibilities from time to time, as neededMust be able to lift heavy boxes up to 90 pounds when needed.Requirements:Requires ability to work independentlyMay work overtime, evenings, or weekends to complete work, as directed and authorized by managementRequires the ability to pay close attention to details and meet deadlines.Be able to work in temperatures of an average of 38 to Negative degrees depending on the work assignment.The employee may encounter wet floors and/or damp areas and encounter meat products including blood/fat piecesFollow all safety rulesBenefits & Pay:$17.00/hour 1st shift $17.75/hr 2nd shiftPaid every FridayDirect Deposit and/or Paycards AvailablePaid Holidays & PTO (based on accrued hour requirements)Medical Coverage-Access to affordable and comprehensive group medical coverage.Our job is to get YOU hired (and it's free!)
