Responsibilities include:
Customer Service, Team working Quality Improvement
- Interacts with residents, families, staff, and other visitors in a pleasant, respectful, and courteous manner.
- Acts as a positive representative of community at au times.
- Assists in organizing groups of residents for each scheduled activity.
- Responsible for picking up and delivering residents to routed stops. Assists residents in and out of vehicles.
- Operates vehicles in a safe and clean fashion.
- May assist Activity Director with in-house activities including planning and organizing, arranging furniture, decorating and
- the general set up for activity programs.
- Complies with Federal and State regulations relative to resident rights issues and quality of life issues.
- Ensures that residents are free from abuse (physical verbal and sexual), mistreatment and neglect. Reports any such instance to the Executive Director.
- Attends all in-service education programs mandated by CSL, State or Federal guidelines which includes necessary
- testing for renewal and maintenance of CDL license endorsement.
- Knowledgeable of Rules of the Road issues mandated by Corporate, State, and Federal Guidelines.
- Reports all accidents/incidents and hazardous conditions/equipment, as established by department policies as well as
- local authorities.
- Examines and analyzes with the Executive Director any accidents/crashes to determine future avoid ability.
- Disposes of waste in accordance with established policies.
- Demonstrates knowledge of emergency policies and procedures.
- Follows established guidelines when using equipment, supplies and chemicals
- High school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) is required. Minimum of one-year successful experience
- operating a bus is required. Prior experience working with seniors preferred.
- As required by law, has a valid driver's license. CDL endorsement preferred and required where necessary.
