Material Handler / Forklift Operator

Job Purpose
The Logistics Associate I is responsible for successful daily execution of receiving, stocking, picking, configuring, and shipping of products. They will operate with high degree of safety, responsiveness, and accuracy to ensure the highest level of operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. The Logistics Associate Iwill be a key member of the operations team to help develop sound processes, standards, and provide indirect leadership to other associates.
Responsibilities

• Processing, packaging and shipping orders accurately and on time using system provided documentation
• Receive, unload and put away incoming inventory items accurately and appropriately
• General maintenance, organization, and cleaning of shipping, receiving, storage, and service areas
• Operation of various types of material handling equipment including narrow aisle reach trucks and forklifts in compliance with Elo's safety procedures
• Conduct or participate in weekly inventory cycle counts to ensure inventory availability accuracy
• Perform high level OS (Operating System) loads across various product lines
• Provide leadership support for all functions within the operation as needed
• Must adhere to Company EH&S policy and procedures when preforming job duties

Ideal Background
Education: High School Diploma
Experience/Professional Requirements:

• 1 years logistics experience
• Certified and licensed to operate forklift, hand truck, pallet jack and other material handling equipment
• Team player with good communication and organizational skills
• Proficient with systems, tools, and technologies

Physical Demands

• Ability to lift up to OSHA single person lift requirements
• Ability to sit, stand, bend or walk for prolonged periods of time
