We are searching for a leader to join our team and help us to transform enterprise strategy into sustainable, consistent, and agile delivery.
Specifically, we are hiring for a Senior Director of Enterprise Planning and Delivery . In partnership with and support from the SVP of Enterprise Operations, you will play a critical role in establishing and leading regular routines and forums needed to ensure consistent delivery across Nordstrom’s operating teams. This is a complex role and requires a leader who can flex their focus from short-term to long-term fluidly, understand strategic and financial impacts, and focus on enterprise outcomes while supporting and developing a team. This role also requires collaboration, partnership, and influence across many operating teams (technology, product management, finance, merchandising, stores, digital, operations, etc). This is a Hybrid, 3 days a week in-office role at our Seattle Headquarters.
A day in the life…
- You will standardize the rhythm of our business, create sentient connections, and play a critical role in establishing JWN Priorities, Tactics and Plans.
- You will lead the Annual Operating Planning process including relentless prioritization, value creation and investment alignment.
- You will drive execution in service to our plans by establishing sustainable orchestration mechanisms focused on delivery and accountability, including Sales and Operating Execution (S&OE) as a key forum and act as “quarterback” for Scaled Event (Anniversary, Holiday) execution.
- You will maintain a strategic and holistic enterprise roadmap, drive executional clarity, and proactively identify issues that may contribute to organizational success and provide solutions and recommendations.

- Adept at prioritizing and planning multi-stakeholder initiatives, providing direction when needed and removing obstacles to get work done – connects the dots between projects and initiatives to maximize resources and output.
- Strong belief and experience in data-driven decision making.
- Customer obsessed with an eye for continual improvement.
- Strong business acumen with exceptional strategic thinking, analytical, and program management skills.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in strategic and/or enterprise program management in dynamic, high-scale environments.

Pay Range Details
The pay range(s) below are provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be different in other locations.
Washington: $180,000 - $290,000 Annually. This position may be eligible for performance-based incentives/bonuses. Benefits include 401k, medical/vision/dental/life/disability insurance options, PTO accruals, Holidays, and more. Eligibility requirements may apply based on location, job level, classification, and length of employment.
