Driver and/or Sales Assistant - Santa Clara

One of our company’s top Sales Professionals – located in our San Francisco, CA office - is seeking an experienced, highly energetic and dependable Driver.

The candidate needs to transport our Sales Professional safely to client appointments throughout the San Francisco area. Pick up and drop off will be at Sales Professional's residence in Santa Clara.

This position will average around 24 hours a week, 2 - 3 days a week. Days will most likely start at 9:00 am and end at 6:00 pm, however, days can begin as early as 8:00 a.m. and end as late as 7:30 p.m. Schedule can change at the last minute, so candidate must be flexible.

Starting pay is $25.00 per hour. Hours exceeding 40 hours per week are paid at overtime rate (1.5 times hourly pay).

There is also the opportunity for this position to be full-time, as a hybrid Driver/Assistant role.

Assistant Job Responsibilities Include:

1. Preparing for daily client visits
   • Prepping clothing to be delivered
   • Locating necessary client information (A/R balances, sales sheet)
   • Updating sales materials regarding fabrics/options
   • Coordinating and maintaining all client orders/files
2. Communicating with clients:
   • Setting up appointments
   • Providing status of orders
   • Scheduling deliveries
   • Sending reminders
3. Supporting the sales efforts of the sales professional by:
   • Communicating regularly with the sales professional and other members of the store team
   • Meeting with the sales professional to set goals
   • Managing daily calendar
   • Organizing inventory
   • Pursuing efficiencies for processes and communication
   • Picking up and delivering client items as needed
4. Prospecting new clients using internet and social media applications
   • Entering referrals into proprietary system
   • Sending introductory and promotional messages
   • Creating call lists/hot lists
5. Delivering exceptional customer service when contacting factories, corporate office, clients and outside vendors
6. Maintaining a professional image to interface with corporate clients
