Forklift Material Handler

Adecco is assisting their client in Montebello, CA with hiring a Material Handler. Ideal candidate should have general warehouse experience and MUST have experience operating a Stand Up Reach and Sit Down Forklift.This is a 1st shift 6am-2:30pm (overtime will require an earlier start time and some Saturdays) Pay is $20.00/hr.Responsibilities Include for (Distribution & Stockroom):• Operate forklift and hand pallet jack• Use wireless RF scanning equipment to ensure accuracy of inventory• Adhere to quality and customer service standards set forth by the company• Perform daily precheck inspection of forklift• Identify and report safety hazards in the workplace• Consolidate partial pallets for incoming/outbound goods• Able to lift 50 pounds occasionally• Good Communication Skills• Maintain cleanliness of workstationResponsibilities (Distribution)• Pick, Pack and Stage orders to be shipped• Load and unload trucks and containers• Ability to operate dock plates• Ability to operate shrink and strapping machines• Ability to read work instructions and bills of ladingResponsibilities (Stockroom)• Consolidate and transfer received inventory into warehouse (aka “putaways”)• Responsible for transfer of material to subassembly stations.• Sub Assembly parts identification skills• Responsible for assisting in material handling to other work centers, as required by Supervisor.• Assist in cycle counting as required by SupervisorFor immediate consideration, please submit your resume.Pay Details: $19.50 to $20.00 per hourBenefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
