Our client is seeking a Forklift Operator to join their team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be part of the Shipping and Receiving department supporting the warehouse team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and excellent communication skills which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Forklift Operator
Location: Raleigh, NC
Pay Range: $19 per hour
What's the Job?
- Read and understand work orders as well as verbal instruction for assignment.
- Select merchandise for shipment and stack on load pallets using an order selector or forklift.
- Move items from receiving or warehouse locations to shipping or other designated areas.
- Stage pallets for loading at proper dock locations.
- Load and unload pallets that contain full cartons as well as broken lots.
What's Needed?
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 1 year warehouse and forklift experience (2+ years preferred).
- Must be able to efficiently use a Windows-based computer.
- Able to effectively handle multiple priorities with a strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
