Head Business Intelligence & Reporting, First Vice President wanted by Valley National Bank in Morristown, New Jersey. Lead a team of data analysts and BI specialists to deliver key metrics across all business lines and functions.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of data analysts and BI specialists to deliver key metrics across all business lines and functions.
• Develop talent to increase data-analytics maturity.
• Develop and maintain intuitive dashboards in a scalable, user-friendly business intelligence (BI) environment, with high degree of availability and data accuracy.
• Drive a data-driven culture by increasing adoption of business intelligence and metrics tools.
• Manage BI tools and architecture, planning for current and future needs.
• Generate insights and present findings to business and functional teams using intuitive data visualization.

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Analytics, Econometrics, or closely related discipline and 5 years post-baccalaureate progressive experience in the field, which includes 3 years in the job offered or in a senior business analytics role.
• Requires 3 years of experience in data models building and data manipulation in the SQL server management tool and Tableau and 2 years of experience in data visualization and developing dashboards and 2 years of experience using Looker, Snowflake and Python.
