MTM Transit in partnership with RideSource is looking for Part Time, CDL Drivers to join our team in Eugene, Oregon. Start a career that makes a difference in people's lives!
Why make the move to MTM Transit?
• $20.00 Starting Pay
• Must be Available 1 Weekend Day, preferably both days
• Training will consist of one week of classroom training, M-F, 9am-4pm, then a weekday PT schedule of 3 or more days weekly through the completion of training
• Must be willing to obtain Class C CDL within 90 Days of employment if not already licensed
• Full Time Driver positions are also available
What we require:
• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• A valid Oregon Class C CDL with passenger endorsements or the ability to obtain one in 90 Days
• Minimum of 5 years driving history
• No suspensions or DWI/DUI within the last 5 years
• No moving violations or at fault accidents within the last 3 years
• Must be able to pass DOT physical and pre-employment drug/alcohol screening
• Must pass criminal background check investigation
• Possess valid authorization to work in the United States
What will your job look like?
• Provide safe and reliable transportation
• Demonstrate excellent defensive driving skills
• Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external stakeholders
• Must assist with passenger loading and unloading from vehicle
• Must assist with any mobility device and securement as required for safety protocols
• Ensure the on-time pick-up and drop off of the customer
• Demonstrates understanding and sensitivity to the needs of older adults and individuals with disabilities
• Complete thorough vehicle pre-trip, post-trip, and DVI inspections as required
• Complete paperwork as required
• Utilize tablets or electronic devices as required
