Position Summary : The Winch Truck Driver drives and operates a Winch Truck equipped with a single winch. Equipment is loaded and unloaded onto the truck or trailer using the truck's mechanical winch. All duties of the Winch Truck Driver are to be performed according to the company operating procedures to maximize the safety of all personnel at the work site and to efficiently perform the task.

Position Summary : The Winch Truck Driver drives and operates a Winch Truck equipped with a single winch. Key Roles / Responsibilities :
- Inspects daily winch cable for burrs, flat spots, broken threads, and tail chain rope socket.
- Inspects daily winch frame, welds, and loose bolts on the frame.
- Applies knowledge of moving equipment such as rig components.
- Maintains a log of travel and goods in accordance with Federal and State regulations and company policy.
- Adheres to all DOT procedures.
- Must have knowledge of load securing devices (straps, ratchet boomers, chains, and binders).
- Must be willing to stay out of town.
- Must have 1 year with CDL license.
- Must have experience with Winch Truck.
- Must have experience with hauling equipment.
- Must be able to haul over size equipment.
- Must have experience with running heavy equipment.
- Over The Road driver experience, preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent, preferred.
- Hazmat endorsement, preferred.
- Prolonged periods sitting in a truck cab for long periods of time.
- Ability to maintain single task focus and situational awareness.
- Long term physical fitness for duty to maintain all licenses and certifications of fitness as required by regulatory agencies and licensing entities (DMV, FAA, DOT, et cetera).
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Determine the distance between objects.
- React quickly using hands, fingers, or feet.
- Move two or more limbs together (for example, two arms, two legs, or one leg and one arm) while remaining in place.
- Must be able to comprehend and follow written and oral instructions.
- Must be able to complete tasks even with frequent interruptions.
- Must be able to use discretion and independent judgment as needed.
- Must be able to speak clearly on the phone and to fellow workers.
