POSITION SUMMARY: To safely and efficiently transport products from the warehouse to various customers and deliver and unload products according to customer invoices and company standards.
COMPENSATION INFORMATION: Delivery Drivers run 3-4 routes per week and average $75,000 - $85,000 per year with earning potential of $100,000. Paid training and top earning potential.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Safely transport product from the warehouse to the customer location on a timely basis
- Unload and deliver product according to customer specifications and company standards
- Ensure all paperwork is completed accurately and promptly
- Maintain food safety protocols and sanitary conditions
- Communicate with management regarding any issues
- Perform other duties as assigned
REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: High school diploma/GED/equivalent degree, plus 1 year of tractor trailer driving experience preferred
CERTIFICATIONS AND/OR TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS: Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Regularly lift, push, or move up to 50 pounds, climb in and out of a tractor and trailer, and reach to stack and unstack pallets
WORK ENVIRONMENT: Work an overnight schedule with exposure to various weather conditions; occasional exposure to wet, hot, extreme cold and/or humid conditions
