Target Range: $90,000.00 /Yr. - $110,000.00 /Yr.
Actual starting pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, skills, specialty, and education.

These discretionary target bonuses may be awarded semi-annually based upon your achievement of performance goals and targets.
About This Job
The Technical Delivery Lead role emphasizes different types of disciplines to drive solutions and problem-solving skills to activities related to the company's delivery planning and execution of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process. This role requires a detail-oriented, driven individual who seeks to solve complicated problems and thrives in an environment with a high pace and many opportunities to improve efficiency and contribute to a product's success. You will manage multiple high-complexity projects by leading scrum master seniorities from senior to junior or trainee level. This position is 100% on-site at our HQ in San Diego, CA.
Responsibilities:
- Guide projects or teams/groups in implementing agile methodologies to deliver rapid and reliable business products
- Track and remove blockers or impediments that hinder project progress. Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the scrum team or across different teams
- Monitor and report on the progress of the Features, PBIs and Tasks during each sprint (e.g., Burn-down chart) or Kanban (e.g., Throughput)
- Set up and manage sprint planning and other scrum/kanban ceremonies (i.e., backlog refinement, daily scrum, demos, etc.)
- Manage the team's sprints, boards, and dashboards in ADO to ensure optimal velocity
- Coordinate backlogs across teams for cross-functional projects/teams
- Collaborate with project teams to estimate sprint velocity. Manage the day-to-day technical issues with the team
- Effectively manage and communicate outstanding bugs, issues, and velocity to team and leadership
- Identify potential risks and devise contingency plans with some supervision
- To ensure that expectations and satisfaction are met or exceeded, keep management and key stakeholders well informed about the team's progress, status, and concerns on a timely basis
- Conduct sprint retrospectives and create recommendations report to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements
- Partner with project managers and development team to develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, and presentations
- Report their actual level of effort using the agreed-upon time tracking system, Daptiv
- Work closely with the Software Development Manager, Product Manager and a PMO as a day-to-day alignment
- Ability to understand the complexity of the project and lead scrum masters and teams to the success of the delivery of the project
- Coaching, onboarding, and training individual scrum masters within the respected development groups on agile methodologies and process improvement
- Strategize and execute large-scale process improvements with various stakeholders in the software development cycle
- Resource management and related administrative duties with teams
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years as a Project Manager
- 3+ years of leadership experience managing a team of scrum masters
- 1+ year leading multiple agile teams
- Experience with SCRUM/Agile methodologies with enterprise level application development projects
- Proficient understanding of technical equipment and software packages, relationship management, leadership, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
- Passionate about delivering excellence in customer service within a team environment and work well with geographically dispersed teams
- Possess an exceptional work ethic, be comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, and have the ability to independently manage a workload with multiple priorities
Preferred:
- Start-up experience and ability to handle change in an evolving landscape in development
- Experience and ability to handle high pace environment
- Knowledge of different Agile Frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, DDT, TDD, etc.)
- Knowledge and understanding of Waterfall Framework
- Banking/FinTech industry experience
- Relevant certifications (CSM, PSM, PMI-ACP, CSP, SSM, etc.)
