Operators will work in a fast-paced environments. Safety is a top priority for Operators and must have knowledge of safe operation and driving practices to complete obligations. Operators report directly to the Foreman.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESExcavating trenches and structures, laying pipe and precast concrete structures, loading trucks and back-filling trenchesPlacing shoring and trench boxesOperates a crawler or rubber-tired machine mounted with an excavator bucketMay also be equipped with various hydraulic attachments (e.g. hammers, pipe vacuum)Performs daily inspection on equipment for issues and/or deficienciesCompletes inspection paperwork daily and notifies the Foreman of any issues/defectsMay assist the crew, when needed, in operating other equipment and/or helping the laborers on the groundPerforms other duties as assignedPosition RequirementsCERTIFICATIONS AND QUALIFICATIONS2A Hoisting License (at least)DOT Medical Examiners CertificateValid Driver’s LicenseOSHA 10Salary Negotiable.Req Number CON-24-00042Location New BedfordEOE Statement We are an equal employment opportunity employer.
