Travel Nurse RN - Labor/Delivery in Leesburg, VA

**Shift:** 12 hours, 7 AM - 7 PM
**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week
**Experience:** Minimum of 2 years in L&D
**License:** Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse
**Certifications:**
- Basic Life Support (BLS) - must be from the American Heart Association
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
- Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) - STABLE preferred
**Must-Have:** Ability to read and interpret ECG strips; passing an ECG Exam is required
**Job Description:**
- Work on a 13-bed Labor and Delivery unit with 4 Triage beds
- Support 3 Operating Rooms and 4 PACU rooms
- Participate in approximately 10-15 deliveries per day, or about 300 per month
- Maintain nurse-to-patient ratios: Laboring patients 1:1 or 1:2; Antepartum patients 1:3-4, depending on acuity
- Work with OBIX system for Fetal Heart Monitoring
- Use EPIC for Electronic Medical Records; access required
- Undergo a 3-shift orientation on the floor
- Scrubs will be provided
- Work 5 weekend shifts every 6 weeks, rotating holidays with core staff
- Participate in on-call duties for 16 hours every 6 weeks
- No floating to other units within Women's specialty
