Job Description:

• Type: Dedicated Flex Route (Solo and Team)
• Responsibilities: Delivering aftermarket automotive parts (cages, totes, loose pieces like hoods, bumpers, doors) to Honda dealerships. Night routes may involve unlocking dealership gates, unloading trailers, scanning new deliveries, picking up returns, and securing the dealership before departure. Maneuvering tractor-trailer in tight car lot corridors, primarily in Chicago.
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 1700 - 0030
• Home Time: Guaranteed weekend home time (Saturday night - Sunday night). Home time during the week depends on route and distance from Davenport.
• Miles: Solo: 1,500 miles per week / Team: 3,000 miles per week
• Stops: Average 8 stops per route
• Equipment: 2014-2021 Peterbilt with automatic transmission, Pre-Pass, EZ Pass, 28'/48' Dry Van with lift gates
• Freight: Touch freight - Automotive parts
• Truck Speed: 65 mph pedal and cruise
• Double Endorsement: Preferred but not required
• Physical Requirements: Handling, positioning, and securing roller cages, lifting boxed parts (40-75 lbs.), loading/unloading trailers
• Referral Bonus: $3,000 referral bonus, $1,000 on second paycheck, $1,000 at 60 days, and $1,000 at 120 days
• Sign-On Bonus: $8,000 - Paid out as follows: $250 in week 1 and 2, $1,500 at 90 days, $2,000 at 180, 270, and 360 days
• Stop Pay: $12.00 single, $14.00 team split excluding final stop
• Accessorial Pay: Delay pay $18.54 per hour solo, $9.27 per hour team after 15 minutes free time

Requirements:

• Experience: 3 months recent experience
• Endorsements: Doubles preferred
• Comfort Level: Maneuvering in downtown Chicago
• Restrictions: No pets or passengers

Compensation:

• Pay Structure:
  • Solo Pay: $0.52 per mile
  • Team Pay: $0.31 per mile
  • Hourly Pay: $20.20 after 1-hour free time (split for teams)
• Weekly Min. Guaranteed Pay: $1,200
• Average Annual Pay: $70,863
• Pay Increases: $0.005 mileage increase every 6 months until top pay
