Delivery Driver/Counter Sales
As a Delivery Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and timely delivery of products to our customers. Your responsibilities will include safely operating delivery vehicles, planning optimal routes, and providing exceptional customer service during deliveries.
Responsibilities

• Safely transport products from our distribution center or warehouse to customer locations.
  
• Ensure on-time delivery according to the established schedule.
  
• Operate delivery vehicles, such as vans or trucks, in a safe and responsible manner.
  
• Perform routine checks to maintain the cleanliness and functionality of the delivery vehicle.
  
• Provide excellent customer service during the delivery process.
  
• Obtain necessary signatures and confirm deliveries with customers.
  
• Plan and organize delivery routes efficiently to optimize time and resources.
  
• Utilize navigation tools to ensure the most efficient and timely deliveries.
  
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including proof of delivery, mileage, and other relevant documentation.
  
• Report any discrepancies or issues with deliveries promptly.
  
• Develop a good understanding of the products being delivered.
  
• Provide basic information to customers about the delivered items.
  
• Adhere to all safety protocols and traffic laws while operating the delivery vehicle.
  
• Follow company policies and procedures regarding safety and security.
  
• Communicate effectively with the warehouse, dispatch, and other team members.
  
• Report any delivery-related issues or concerns promptly.
  
• Assist in loading and unloading products from the delivery vehicle.
  
• Conduct inventory checks as required.
  
• Address and resolve any customer complaints or concerns related to the delivery process.
  
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to transportation and delivery.
  

Qualifications and Skills

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  
• Ability to lift and carry heavy items.
  
• Basic knowledge of navigation tools and route planning.
  
• Familiarity with safety regulations related to transportation.
  
• Physical stamina to meet the demands of the job.
  

Benefits/Compensation

• Full Time
  
• Pay rate is $12 per hour
  
• 1st shift (M-F 8am-5pm with occasional Saturdays being 8am-1pm)
  
• Weekly pay while employed through Career Concepts
  
• Benefits available while employed through Career Concepts
