**Job Title:** Maternal Child Health Registered Nurse
**Job Specialty:** Labor & Delivery - Critical Need
**Job Duration:** 13 weeks
**Shift:** 12 hours, 07:00 PM to 07:30 AM
**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week
**Experience:** Minimum of 1-year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience
**License:** Registered Nurse License (in the state where care is provided)
**Certifications:**
- Basic Life Support
- Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program
**Must-Have:** ACLS Certification
**Job Description:**
- Provide compassionate, high-quality care to mothers and newborns during labor and delivery.
- Manage high-risk obstetric patients and handle emergency situations with efficiency and confidence.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide patient-centered care.
- Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner.
- Stay up-to-date with best practices and protocols in maternal child health.
- Participate in continuing education and professional development activities.
- Maintain patient safety and confidentiality at all times.
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field and five or more years of recent labor and delivery experience. High-risk labor and delivery experience is highly desired.
