PERMAN TRANSFER LLC is seeking an experienced Hazmat Operator to join our team. If you have experience loading in terminals such as Magellan and Flint Hills, a strong commitment to safety, and are motivated to succeed, we want to hear from you. This role offers the flexibility to create your own schedule, provided that three loads are completed each week in full compliance with USDOT regulations. Training is provided for your first three loads to ensure a smooth transition. We are looking for individuals who value safety, teamwork, and professional growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a hazmat vehicle for the transport of goods in accordance with company policy and local, state, and federal laws.
- Efficiently manage routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working order.
- Line up and fuel up the vehicle in preparation for trips.
- Adhere to all safety requirements and procedures associated with the handling and transportation of hazardous materials.
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation as required.
Requirements:
- Must possess a valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with Hazmat endorsement.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience driving with a Hazmat endorsement.
- Clean driving record.
- Strong commitment to safety and customer service.
- Ability to work independently and responsibly.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
