**Job Description:**
- Provide comprehensive care for patients in labor and delivery, managing both routine and emergency situations.
- Support and educate expectant mothers throughout the labor process and postpartum period.
- Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a safe and healthy environment for mothers and newborns.
- Monitor fetal and maternal status, evaluate changes, and respond accordingly.
- Ensure newborns receive appropriate care in the nursery setting, assisting with childbirth processes including delivery and C-section support.
- Administer medications and perform medical procedures as needed.
- Maintain thorough and accurate patient records.
- Prepare for orientation to update knowledge of protocols and procedures.
