Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years of experience in a logistics, transportation, or driver management role.
Proven leadership experience, with the ability to mentor and develop a team.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on conflict resolution.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS) and relevant technology.
Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to improve processes.
CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) or driving experience is preferred but not required

As the Driver Success Manager, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a positive and productive work environment for our team of driver managers and drivers. You will be responsible for leading the new employee orientation program, ensuring that new hires are effectively onboarded and prepared for success. Additionally, you will oversee and mentor a team of 8-10 driver managers, supporting their professional development and ensuring optimal performance and driver satisfaction.
Essential Job Functions
Oversee a team of 8-10 driver managers, providing guidance, performance evaluations, and ongoing development opportunities.
Monitor team performance and implement strategies for continuous improvement to meet company and driver success goals.
Foster a collaborative team environment, ensuring that communication is clear, and challenges are addressed promptly.
Lead and manage the orientation process for new drivers, ensuring they understand company policies, safety protocols, and operational procedures.
Provide ongoing support and training to ensure new drivers have the resources and knowledge to excel in their roles.
Serve as a key point of contact for new drivers during their transition into the company.
Monitor driver satisfaction, performance, and compliance with company policies and safety standards.
Work closely with the Operations Manager to ensure that driver managers have the tools, information, and support they need to manage their drivers effectively.
Act as a liaison between driver managers and drivers to ensure that drivers are supported, engaged, and achieving their professional goals.
Develop programs or initiatives to enhance driver retention and success.
Collaborate with recruiting team to develop and maintain robust hiring standards and assist in reviewing driver benefit packages that support recruiting efforts, retention and optimize the overall driver experience
Address and resolve any issues or conflicts between driver managers and drivers in a timely and constructive manner.
Provide mediation and guidance to ensure positive outcomes for all parties involved.
Generate regular reports on team performance, driver success metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Present findings to senior leadership and recommend actionable insights for continuous improvement.
