Travel Nurse RN - Labor/Delivery in Bel Air, MD

**Job Description:**
- Specializes in Labor and Delivery with a focus on mom-centered care.
- Responsible for managing a unit with 100 to 120 deliveries per month.
- Work in a 14-bed family birth center with 9 beds in special care nursing.
- Requires providing care in a Level 2 nursing environment.
- Complies with a nurse-patient ratio of 4:1 for mom and baby, 2:1 for labor and delivery, and 1:1 when active.
- Works alongside ancillary assistance from secretaries and scrub techs, with midwives available on the unit.
- Undergoes 5 days of new team member orientation, including 4 days in class and 1 day on the floor.
- Familiarity with Meditech computer systems; transitioning to EPIC next year.
- Must be comfortable floating within hospital settings without restrictions, provided it is within the scope of experience.
- Candidates will be responsible for on-call shifts totaling 24 hours in a 6-week period.
- Adherence to health protocols, flu vaccine required without exemptions.
- Candidates should note return policies for both travelers and former staff members.
