The Qualified Material Handler will be able to perform the following tasks:

• Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
• Ability to lift 35 lbs.
• Work in a standing position for long periods
• Knowledge and experience in operating a forklift.
• Log inventory for materials coming in and going out of the yard.
• Count and weigh count materials

Requirements of a Material Handler:

• Organizational skills
• Excellent stamina, strength, and dexterity.
• Ability to work outside year-round.
• Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure.
• Able to accurately read a tape measure.
• Set up material to be cut.
• The ability to teach would be advantageous.
• Willingness to learn and work overtime when required.
• Outstanding attention to detail.
