AVL Mobility Technologies, Inc. It is the mission of AVL MTI to be the leading engineering consultancy providing excellence and sustainable mobility solutions to North America and the world as a key member of the AVL global network to help improve vehicle safety and reduce emissions.
AVL MTI is currently searching for a Southern, CA based individual to support a driving project for 6 to 8 weeks; approx. 40 hours per week. The project will take the individual out of the state based on a designated route during this time period. This position will be temporary and conclude at the end of the assignment. The individual will be accompanied in the designated vehicle by an AVL engineer who will be supporting the collection of the data during the drive. Qualified individuals must be 25 years or older with a compliant driving record. This position will be paid hourly ($25 per hour), will receive 401K, will not be eligible for medical benefits or additional benefits. All hotel expenses, fuel and meals during the travel will be paid by AVL.
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis . Employer will not sponsor an applicant for a work visa for this position.
Responsibilites

  • Drives a specific vehicle throughout a specific route within a required amount of time
  • Responsible for fueling the vehicle as needed
  • Notifies company of any required vehicle maintenance
  • Provides requested data or information to the company in regards to travel/vehicle as defined by provided procedures
Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Experience driving as part of job requirement (ie delivery service, public service employees or previous fleet driving experience
  • Proficient time management skills
  • Experience driving a vehicle with a trailer
