A growing Labor and Delivery unit seeks an experienced Clinical Nurse Manager to lead a dedicated team of maternal child health healthcare professionals. The Clinical Nurse Manager will oversee a dynamic 15-bed unit performing approximately 1,800 deliveries annually, while managing a staff of 65 L&D clinical professionals.

The Clinical Nurse Manager will drive excellence in maternal and infant care through strategic leadership and clinical expertise. The Labor and Delivery Nurse Manager role offers a competitive base salary with a 10% sign-on bonus and the opportunity to earn up to an additional 15% performance-based annual bonus tied to medical center achievements.

The Clinical Nurse Manager will be accountable for key maternal health metrics including:

• Primary cesarean section rates below 23.9% for NTSV (Nulliparous, Term, Singleton, Vertex) births
• Exclusive breast milk feeding rates above 80%
• Early elective delivery rates below 2%
• Maternal hemorrhage risk assessment completion above 95%
• Hospital-acquired infection rates below 1%
• Patient satisfaction scores above 85th percentile
• Staff retention rates above 90%

The Clinical Nurse Manager must demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, financial acumen, and the ability to lead quality improvement initiatives. This role requires collaboration with physicians, staff, and hospital leadership to maintain Joint Commission standards and implement evidence-based practices in maternal and infant care.
