Job Requirements / Description
Specific responsibilities include:
- Safely operate equipment in compliance with all company policies, laws and regulations.
- Load, transport, and unload each shipment in an efficient manner.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and equipment managers.
- Maintain a clean equipment interior and exterior and report maintenance needs promptly.
- Are mechanically competent and have a firm understanding of their equipment.
- Properly complete all load-related documentation in an accurate fashion.
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- One (1) year of Class A driving experience preferred
- Commercial Drivers License, Class A
- HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Must pass pre-employment DOT Physical and drug screen
- Must be able to sit/drive for long or short periods of time
- Must be able to lift 50lbs repetitively
- Ability to work nights, weekends and some holidays
- Reliable time management
- Effective communication skills
- A strong work ethic with a commitment to succeed
