Summary of Position
Drive pickup truck through disaster recovery cleanup sites.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Drive truck around the recovery sites.
- Inspect truck for defects before and after trips and submits report indicating truck condition.
- Assist workers in loading and unloading truck.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Essential Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and a minimum of six months related experience.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Must have a Valid Driver's license
- Clean driving record.

- Observes safety and security procedures; uses equipment and materials properly.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; duck walk, reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; outside weather conditions and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
